The Department of Mathematics at the University of Bologna is inviting expressions of interest for a new position at the level of Tenure Track Researcher (RTT, ricercatore/ricercatrice a tempo determinato in tenure track) or Associate Professor (professore/professoressa associato) pursuant to art. 1, co. 9, Legge 230/2005.
The call of interest aims at recruiting researchers currently employed outside Italy with a strong expertise and with an outstanding track record in any field of Mathematics.
Applicants are invited to submit their expression of interest to the Head of the Department, Prof. Annamaria Montanari, via e-mail at mat.direzione@unibo.it, explicitly indicating the academic Level of the position they would apply (either Tenure Track Researcher or Associate Professor).
In addition, the applicant must provide the following documents:
- an up-to-date Academic Curriculum Vitae
including the applicant’s contact details, dated and signed. The CV must also indicate the applicant’s citizenship and fiscal information, namely date and place of birth and tax code;
- up to 3 letters of reference
these must be sent directly by the referees, in separate and confidential e-mails, to mat.direzione@unibo.it, indicating the candidate’s name in the subject line, no later than June 5th;
- a recent certificate of service
issued by the employing institution, stating the Applicant’s current position and the starting date.
The approximate annual starting gross salary for a full time position is:
- Associate professor: € 57.132,90
The approximate annual gross salary for the Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) for a full time position varies across three salary levels:
- Minimum: € 39.224
- Intermediate: € 47.069
- Maximum: € 50.992
The salary will be determined by the Department Board, in accordance with the applicable regulations, based on seniority.
